Mayor
The Mayor (Philip Glanville) is the lead within Cabinet on the following areas:

- housing regeneration
- devolution and policy (with support from the cabinet member for community safety, policy, and the voluntary sector
He is also the lead within Cabinet for private sector housing and housing affordability, although he is supported in this area by a Mayoral Adviser as outlined below.
