Kings Park

Sharon Patrick

Sharon has been a councillor since 1988 and represents Kings Park Ward. She has lived on Clapton Park Estate for over 30 years and has three children.

Sharon is a member of the Clapton Park Tenant Management Organisation that manages Nye Bevan, Millfields and Clapton Park Estate on behalf of tenants. She is also Chair of the Trustees of Hackney Marsh Partnership - a Community organisation that runs the Concord Youth Club.

Sharon’s priorities include working with the local police and community to ensure that Kings Park is a welcoming and safe place, and she chairs the Kings Park Neighbourhood Forum.

Sharon is also a Volunteer Board Member of Advance and Housing Association that provides housing and care for people with Learning and Mental Health Disabilities.


Tom Rahilly

Tom has lived in Hackney all his adult life and is an active member of his local community. He has served as the chair of governors for his local primary school and has been a member of Hackney’s Youth Offending Team community panel team. He is currently a trustee of the Hackney Marshes Project, which provides youth services and employment support for the resident’s of King’s Park. 

Tom currently works with children in care and has previously led work to tackle child poverty and expand Sure Start Children’s Centres.

He is passionate about fighting inequality and improving support for children and families. These Labour values are the motivation for his community activities and his desire to serve as a councillor in King’s Park.


Rebecca Rennison

Rebecca has lived in Hackney since 2009 and has represented Kings Park ward since 2014.

Rebecca sits on the Board of the Clapton Park Management Organisation alongside her fellow councillors, and is a Chats Palace board member. Rebecca enjoys being an active ward councillor, helping with activities like the Daubeney Fields Fun Day, attending tenants meetings on estates across the ward and holding regular surgeries.

Outside of being a councillor Rebecca works for a health charity, helping women with cancer access improved care and support.
