Grace Adebayo: Grace has lived and worked in Hackney for over 38 years. She has been involved in community development, as a board member and chair of Community engagement Wenlock Barn TMO, pioneering work on the estates to make them dementia friendly. To help bridge the gap of loneliness for older people, she set up the 50+ group, together with local Youth forum, setting up a pathway between the older and the young people within Wenlock estate.

As a frontline worker with a local authority, she has helped families to retain their homes, playing a vital role in preventing homelessness. She is also a qualified psychotherapist, which requires her to work with a wide variety of people without any judgement and with confidentiality at all times. If elected, these are skills she would take with her as a representative on Hackney Council.
