Ahmad is 28 years old and has lived in Hackney all his life. He went to Northwold Primary and attended Homerton Boys for 2 years before it closed. Ahmad has been a Governor of Homerton Hospital since 2019 and was recently the Vice Chair of Madina Mosque Trust. He loves Hackney and encourages active representation, healthier lives, and better working and living conditions for all.

Working for a regional authority, Ahmad drives forward economic growth in a way that is fairer and climate-friendly for those who live, work and visit London. He previously worked for Hackney and Camden Council, delivering much needed homes.
In his spare time, Ahmad can be found gardening, listening to test match cricket, at one of Hackney’s excellent Leisure Centres swimming or playing Badminton, or enjoying the green spaces that have transformed Hackney.
