Clayeon McKenzie

Clay has lived in Hoxton 30 years and been a local councillor since 2006. He has worked hard over those years as both a volunteer and a councillor to support and advocate on behalf of local residents, community & faith groups as well as small businesses to improve the area. As a former member of Shoreditch Trust, Clay was instrumental in the introduction of the 394 bus as a community start-up project.

He also successfully campaigned alongside his fellow Councillors to have the Murray Grove Post Office reopened. Going forward, Clay’s priorities include Improving Council Housing services and delivery of more genuinely affordable Council Homes for local people, as well as continuing to support the revival of Hoxton Street Market and the upgrading of our parks and green spaces. He is committed to making OUR already great neighbourhood into an even better place to live
