Fliss Premru

A Clissold resident for 22 years, Fliss is concerned about the increase costs of rent and other utilities as well as air pollution and cuts to public services and benefits from Central Government.

Fliss is looking forward to using her skills from her previous roles as a trade union representative and museum curator, securing jobs and the London Living Wage for agency workers, and her work with trade unions on climate justice and jobs to fight for the residents of Clissold. Her priorities include working with communities for improved housing, transport and youth provision, waste reduction and positive action on climate.

She is also looking forward to working with colleagues across Hackney to build on achievements of recent years such as school streets and improving access to recycling and leisure facilities.
