Born and raised in Hackney, Joseph is a social housing resident and began his career within the borough. Having worked within the social housing sector for over 10 years, he is equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by local authorities, landlords, residents and the quality of services provided in diverse communities.
Joseph always had aspirations of becoming prominent within public office due to having a confidence in believing he can make a positive contribution at this level for the community.
Although we all have commonalities as constituents of Hackney, he believes it’s our differences that make us stronger together, not what sets us apart.
A proud Trade Union activist, he is passionate about improving workers’ rights.
He is dedicated to help build on existing commitments in Hackney, for it to be an even better borough to work, play and stay in.
