Polly was elected to represent De Beauvoir in 2018 and since then has been helping residents with repairs, housing problems, and anti-social behaviour, speaking up for more genuinely affordable homes, better living conditions for residents in emergency accommodation and for cleaner safer streets.
During the pandemic she helped set up and develop the De Beauvoir Mutual Aid group and food bank, supporting residents, collecting donations and volunteering at the borough’s vaccination centres.
She supported families in securing a Play Street in Enfield Road and is pressing for a School Street among other safety measures. She has worked with residents in shaping the design of the new homes planned for the De Beauvoir estate and has campaigned for improvements to the estate to benefit everyone who currently lives there.
Polly believes everyone in De Beauvoir deserves a decent place to live, to be healthy, safe and secure in their community, with access to good schools and opportunities to work and play. She will continue to fight for these ends for all residents.
